Happy Tuesday Lovelies!
I meant to sew up the Holly Dress by Bubby and Me Creations back in April but life happened and I’m only just getting around to it. Perfect timing too! It made for the most perfect Mother’s Day outfit.
Pattern Description: The Holly Dress by Bubby and Me Creations – The Holly Dress has a fitted, lined bodice, exposed zipper and the option of a gathered or a circle skirt.
Pattern Sizing: 18 mth to 10 girls. I blended my sizes and used an 18mth bodice with a 4T length.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern once you were done sewing it? YES
Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes. I’ve tested for Bubby and Me Creations before and the instructions have always been very easy to follow. It like that it includes real pictures rather than line illustrations.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: Instead of an exposed zipper I used an invisible one. I also added side pockets.
What did you particularly like about the pattern? I love the back detail and the option to use a bias hem facing.
What did you dislike about the pattern? Not a thing.
Fabric Used: Michael Miller Fabric: Bed of Roses (Cora) & Michael Miller Cotton Couture: Peach.
Will I sew this pattern again? : Yes, I want to make a maxi version.
We had a wonderful Mother’s Day, I hope you guys did too! And that’s it for today guys! Talk to you soon!! XOXO
