Hello Lovelies!

A few weeks ago I was selected to pattern test the SUPERĀ cute Magrath Dress by Sew Much Ado. The patternĀ features a fully lined bodice, with options for a straight front, or a sweetheart front with back curved pieces and an exposed zipper. The pattern also includes short, 3/4, or long sleeve options, as well as both dress and tunic lengths and runs from a size 12months to 12 years. This is such a fun pattern because with so many different options and with the unique way the dress comes together you can mix and match your favorite fabrics.

For my first test, I did the dress with the sweetheart front and long sleeves, even though the pattern calls for an exposed zipper, I opted to use an invisible zipper instead for this version. It came together so beautifully! Abigail really liked it, and she insisted that it went perfectly with her red cow boy boots! (Who am I to argue? They are really cute together. lol)

My favorite part about this pattern is how nicely the front yoke, back yoke and sleeves come together.

Isn’t it just adorable?!?! She really loved this one, so much so she chose it wear on her Valentine date with Daddy. šŸ™‚

This dress has been one of my favorite tests so far, the pattern pieces came together so beautifully, and the instructions were super easy to follow. If you like this pattern as much as I do, head on over to Sew Much Ado now, and snag this pattern up while it’s still on sale! Tomorrow, I’ll share with you my tunic version with anotherĀ front bodice option. Until then! xoxo
