Happy Tuesday Lovelies!

So I took Thanksgiving week off from blogging so the kids and I could just be lazy and try to recover from all of our colds, but I did manage to squeeze in a little time to sew up this dress inspired by The Good Dinosaur Movie that we had plans to go see.

A few weeks ago, while I was looking for a particular fabric on Fabric.com I came across this gorgeous blue ombre pattern from Bernatex called I Want My Space; (you can also find it on Amazon.com: HERE) I wanted to get it then, because it was just so gorgeous, but I didn’t have a project in mind at the time…so I didn’t. When I saw this poster for The Good Dinosaur movie, it immediately came to mind and I immediately ordered it! haha!

I had bought a couple of TULIP dimensional fabric paints months ago (on sale) for a project I had in mind for Adrian, but never got it – I figured the fabric, plus the paint would be a PERFECT pairing to achieve that poster look.

I used the same pattern for Abbie’s Purple Dress (it has been a real favorite! haha) and extended the sleeves to her wrist. Then I printed off a picture of the poster from the internet and traced it onto the dress and painted it. First with a Matte Neon Green…

And then with the Glow in the Dark one. It really does glow, but it might have tried to capture it 150 time with my camera and just couldn’t! 🙁 BOOOOOOOO!!!

The movie was good, and the movie experience at the El Capitan Theatre was incredible! Looking forward to our next time there! Well, that’s it for today’s post you guys! I hope you’re having a wonderful week! The countdown to Christmas begins now! Talk to you soon! xoxo

      1. Can you please let me know when you open again? My daughter is in love with this movie and stores are no longer selling items from the movie. Thank you!
