Hey Guys!
I had the honor of testing THE REBEL GIRL PARTY DRESS by Bella Sunshine Designs last week, and ohhh my gosh…..I can’t tell you how much fun I had testing this pattern. I love testing for Bella Sunshine Designs because with every new pattern she brings out, I am able to learn new sewing techniques. With this particular pattern, I learned what stay tape was and how to use it. I learned what a difference under-stitching makes…
and finally used my Blind Hem Foot on my machine – all techniques to take your garment to a truly professional level.
The Rebel Party Dress is fully lined (bodice and skirt) and has a very modest front, and length with a super cute, flared pleated skirt.
The bodice neck has a classic scoop and the skirt pleats remind me of the uniform skirts that my grandmother use to make me. Very classic, very conservative look right? I’m sure you’re thinking….”Aww okay, its cute….but what’s so rebel about that?!”
Weeeeellllllllll……..wait for it……………………………………………………………………………………………

****SURPRISE!!!****
Here’s the Rebel part of the Rebel Party Dress! Totally “business in the front and party in the back!” haha! The cutout is cute and daring, but with the fitted skirt and concealed zipper it still offers great coverage. No gaping or no sagging to worry about. The button closure also adds that little extra cuteness that buttons have about them, which is also fitted so the bodice sits nice and snug. Check out the action pics!
And it certainly passed the twirl test.
The dress is sweet and simple with a modern twist. What do you think? If you’re interested on getting your hands on this pattern, Bella Sunshine Designs has it on sale now for a limited time. (You can find it HERE.)
Thank you so much for stopping by today, I hope you guys have a fantastic rest of the week! xoxo
