Hello Lovelies!!!
HAPPY FIRST DAY OF FALL/AUTUMN! Oh my gosh, can you believe the seasons are changing already?!! I love everything about Fall – boots, scarves and pumpkin flavored everything! =)

I was putting away The Marshmallow’s (nickname for my daughter) summer wear and found some super cute Fall boots I had gotten for her a while back, and I instantly envisioned a dress that would go perfect with them from fabric I already had in my stash! So I pulled out the pattern I drafted last year for her Halloween outfit, which was really just a long sleeved peasant dress and got to work.

For this dress, I made it knee length because I knew she would be wearing leggings, and instead of long sleeves I made them 3/4 sleeves and added some trim.

And off we went to the park:frontoffalldressthrowingleavesthrowingleaves2falldressleaf1fallboots

My favorite thing about this dress is the puff pocket! She likes to pick up random things and put them in her pockets so I knew she would love a big pocket she could collect leaves and sticks in, and she did! lol

She was calling for squirrels but it ended up looking so magical. funwithdaddyswingshappyfaceIsn’t she just adorbable!? Would love to hear from you, tell me what you think in the comments below! Until next time!
