Hey Guys, Happy Friday!
So I was going through Abbie’s closet again and found one of the Valentine dresses I made for her last year. It was The Holiday Cut Out Dress by Bella Sunshine Designs (you can view that blog HERE). It was a little big for her then, but it fits her perfectly now, so I thought I’d do a little Flash Back Friday Hashtag post just in case any of my readers were looking for a cute little Valentine something to sew up for their littles. This pattern is a perfect beginner’s pattern, and its a super quick sew.
(It was a little too cold to go outside, so we took a few pictures inside.)
Isn’t this heart cut out just perfect for Valentine tho?
What’s great about this pattern is that it comes with six different cut out shapes, each for a different holiday.
I love the functionality of this dress, because it can be worn just so on warm days, or layered on cold days – which makes it an ALL year around dress. The adjustable straps are also great because it will accomodate Abbie as she grows and that’s always a plus when sewing for Little People.
If you’d like to grab yourself a copy in time for Valentine, head on over to Bella Sunshine Designs and scoop it up! And while you’re there, check out her other adorable patterns! I got my eyes on Sweet Lily’s Pintuck Dress and the Gabriella Winter Coat so you may be seeing those in the future! 😉
That’s it for today guys, thank you for stopping by wishing you a safe and relaxing weekend. xoxo
This is so cute! I can’t wait to get a new sewing machine so that I try out this pattern. Found your blog on The Blog Bar.
Hi Elizabeth!! Thank you so much! I need to be better at posting up there! Thank you for the love! <3
