Hello Lovelies!!!
HAPPY FIRST DAY OF FALL/AUTUMN! Oh my gosh, can you believe the seasons are changing already?!! I love everything about Fall – boots, scarves and pumpkin flavored everything! =)
I was putting away The Marshmallow’s (nickname for my daughter) summer wear and found some super cute Fall boots I had gotten for her a while back, and I instantly envisioned a dress that would go perfect with them from fabric I already had in my stash! So I pulled out the pattern I drafted last year for her Halloween outfit, which was really just a long sleeved peasant dress and got to work.
I really do love the simplicity of the peasant dress, there is so much you can do to with just that one pattern. For this dress, I made it knee length because I knew she would be wearing leggings, and instead of long sleeves I made them 3/4 sleeves and added some trim.
And off we went to the park:
My favorite thing about this dress is the puff pocket! She likes to pick up random things and put them in her pockets so I knew she would love a big pocket she could collect leaves and sticks in, and she did! lol
More action shots =)Isn’t she just adorbable!? Would love to hear from you, tell me what you think in the comments below! Until next time!
Thank you Adrienne! =) She makes this so easy =)
