Good Morning Lovelies!
Hope you are having a fantastic start to 2016! My first two weeks have been incredibly busy with pattern testing – one of which was the Eller Top by Blaverry. The Eller Top is a super cozy, long sleeve knit top with a darling peplum ruffle.
I was excited about testing this pattern because 1. It was perfect for the colder than usual winter we are having in California – 2. If you haven’t noticed, I’m falling in love with working with knit! haha (who would have thought?) 3. I love using my twin needle every chance I get and 4. I’ve been waiting to use this gorgeous floral Jersey Blend knit again! (It’s really pretty right? You can find it at Girl Charlee HERE – you’re welcome! 😉 )
The pattern is a really quick sew and very comfy, and it’s Abbie – approved.
The Eller has a classic style, and the fit is pretty amazing. Usually something would have to be tweaked a bit, but the neck hole and sleeve length were pretty spot on! Whats even more cool, is that this pattern ranges from a size 2T to 16 years! I appreciate it when I can get a longer wear from a pattern.
It came together very quickly and its the perfect staple pattern to have because you can dress it up or dress it down, and seriously, how stinking cute is the ruffled peplum? It’s just so adorable! There will definitely be more Ellers in Abigail’s future.
That’s it for today guys, thank you for stopping by! Talk to you soon! xoxox
Lovely fabric! Pattern is great.
