Happy Tuesday Lovelies!

First, just let me warn you, this week will be filled with PDF Pattern Testing posts, I’ve been a busy bee! haha! Today I get to share with you the Trinity Tee by Rock the Stitch.

“The Trinity Tee is a girls modern swing tee with a hi-lo hem in sizes 12 month – 14 years. It features a triangular front accent panel that can be made with knit or woven fabric for a fun modern twist; gathers at the front shoulder, three sleeve lengths, an optional exposed zipper, and no side seams! It is perfect for the confident beginner to the advanced level sewist.” – from Rock the Stitch.

This pattern call went out at the perfect time, because I was looking for something quick and easy to sew for Abigail for our monthly Disneyland trip. I decided that we would resume the Disney cosplays once the weather warms up, for now, this tee was perfect for a cold windy day at Disney.

What I love about the Trinity Tee is that it has no side seams! …Yep, you read that right, NO SIDE SEAMS. It actually starts in the back and meets in the front, it may look complicated but its truly one of the simplest sews I’ve ever done. I used the remainder of the Disney Knit I had for my panel and decided to do mine without the exposed zipper and instead added a little decorative topstitching in hot pink thread on my back seam, just to make it bit fun.

Sadly, I have no high res pictures of our tee at Disney, because guess who forgot her camera card in her computer at home?! This girl!! But luckily, I took these fit pictures before we went to Disney, otherwise I would have had to do it later with ice-cream and ketchup all over it. lol

If you’re looking to venture into sewing with knit this is a good pattern to start with, it’s simple, only a few pattern pieces and in a few hours (interruptions included) you’re done! And since you can pair it with woven fabrics, the possibilities are endless! This week it’s on sale for 20% with the coupon code “TRINITY“, so hop on over to Rock the Stitch and snag it up!

And thank you for stopping by today. You’ll be seeing a couple back to back post this week as I finally get to share with you the pattern tests that I’ve been working on for two great PDF Pattern Designers, that will be revealed in Issue 10 of One Thimble magazine coming this Friday! It’s going to be great! Talk to you soon! xoxo
